CITY OF PALO ALTO: Share Your Uplift Local Experience

Local

City of Palo Alto issued the following announcement on Oct 16

A new online survey is available to engage the community about the City’s Uplift Local initiative.

Uplift Local provides pedestrian only areas while balancing other spaces in Palo Alto business districts such as California Avenue and the downtown core for curbside pickup and delivery. This aspect of the Uplift Local program runs through December 31, 2020 and could be expanded based on community and business input. As more business activities are allowed by the Santa Clara County Public Health Officer and State Public Health, these areas and others strive to offer expanded outdoor dining, retail, personal services, and outdoor gyms and fitness options connecting the community together by providing a sense of normal during these challenging times. The effort continues to evolve based on the changing conditions of the pandemic and community and business input.

Share your feedback here!

Community members can also join us virtually on a monthly basis to share your thoughts and ideas. Our next check-in meeting is on October 20 from 4-5 p.m.
