Khanna highlighted the closure of Copeland Corp's Greenfield, Indiana location which resulted in 75 employees being laid off while a new facility was opened in Arteaga Coahuila, Mexico. He stated that "Copeland Corp, an HVAC manufacturer, closed its Greenfield, Indiana, location and laid off 75 employees the same week it opened a new location in Arteaga Coahuila, Mexico." emphasizing the importance of "offshoring penalties and investments in American companies" to prevent such occurrences.
