Ro Khanna, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 17th district, recently took to social media to raise concerns regarding various national issues. Khanna, an active voice in American politics, shared his opinions on economic policies, academia, and upcoming local events in a series of posts.

On April 9, 2025, Khanna expressed concerns about the current state of the economy. He criticized the administration's economic policies, stating, "Stock market decimated. Bond yields skyrocketing. Dollar declining and prices up. The most self-destructive, wealth-destroying act of any modern administration. Businesses have lost all confidence. Today, I am calling for a reset of the President's economic team, beginning with https://t.co/4tzbZSMKZF".

In another post later that day, Khanna addressed the need for politicians to stand against anti-intellectualism camouflaged as populism. He remarked, "We need politicians to speak up against an anti-intellectualism masking as a false populism. I asked Dr. Kessler about JD Vance calling universities the enemy and firing Dr. Marks who led Operation Warp Speed. https://t.co/gTyVhnQecz".

Khanna also took the opportunity to invite his constituents to an upcoming town hall meeting in San José. He announced, "Join me at my San José town hall on Friday, April 11th from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm PT at the Orchard School District (Event Center), 921 Fox Lane, San José, CA 95131, where I’ll share insights and updates from my latest work in Congress.
