Rep. Ro Khanna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 17th district, has recently expressed his views on various national issues through social media posts. Known for his involvement in economic and legislative matters, Khanna replaced former Congressman Mike Honda in 2017. Born in Philadelphia and residing in Fremont, Khanna holds a BA from the University of Chicago and a JD from Yale University.

On February 13, 2025, Rep. Ro Khanna addressed fellow politician J.D. Vance regarding constitutional law and presidential powers. In a tweet, he stated: ".@JDVance, it is black-letter law. The president administers and executes the law, and courts say what the law is. Your call to defy the Court, like Andrew Jackson, is not just uninformed but dangerous."

In another post dated February 15, 2025, Khanna highlighted job losses affecting American workers due to industrial changes. He noted that "This week, 550 Americans lost their jobs when three manufacturing plants closed and two conducted large layoffs."

On the same day, he further elaborated on the impact of these closures on local communities. Emphasizing the need for revitalization of U.S manufacturing dominance, he wrote: "Our small towns and rural communities are being devastated by factory closures. Revitalizing U.S. manufacturing dominance is a shared interest." He suggested that while strategic tariffs on steel and aluminum might help initially, more actions are necessary to finance new factories domestically.
