Rep. Ro Khanna, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 17th district since 2017, shared his views and upcoming events through a series of tweets on February 3, 2025. Khanna addressed issues ranging from tariff policies to healthcare and wages, as well as an invitation to a town hall meeting.

On February 3, 2025, Rep. Ro Khanna tweeted about tariff policies in the United States. He suggested that policymakers should heed the advice of industry experts like steelworkers regarding smart tariff policy. He stated: "Maybe we should listen to @steelworkers on what smart tariff policy looks like. If the steelworkers say Trump's tantrum tariffs hurt America, that's not a good sign."

Later that day, at 6:00 pm PT, Rep. Khanna announced he would be hosting a town hall meeting at Bishop Elementary School in Sunnyvale, California. The event was intended for him to share updates on his congressional work and engage with constituents by answering their questions. He invited the public by tweeting: "Today at 6:00 pm PT, I’m hosting a town hall at Bishop Elementary School (theatre), 450 N Sunnyvale Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085. Stop in as I provide information on my latest work in Congress and answer any questions you have."

In another tweet posted shortly after announcing the town hall meeting, Rep. Khanna emphasized the need for economic reforms aimed at ensuring fair compensation and healthcare for all Americans working full-time jobs. His message called for legislative action stating: "Any American working a full-time job deserves a livable wage and healthcare. Chappell’s right; it's time for change. Pass Medicare for All and raise the wage."
