In a Gulliveresque, down-the-rabbit-hole art installation, CASP artists Danièle Archambault, Servane Briand, and Paloma Lucas invite the public to literally step inside the second edition of their collaborative comic book project series Be A Page in A Book.
At the heart of the Be A Page in A Book series is the desire to offer the community an opportunity to use visual storytelling as a way to reflect on a social or cultural topic. In the fall of 2018, they asked participants to use a four-panel comic book page to answer the open question “what books mean to me.” The pages they collected from peers, friends, neighbors and family members, locally and far away, display individual and team efforts, using English, French and Spanish words that reflect the cultural heritage of the Be A Page in A Book series.
Free and open to the public.
