Freshman Teddy Tokheim was named Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) co-Player of the Week on Mar. 30 after leading Stanford to a 3-1 record, including a road series win at Virginia Tech.
This recognition marks the first conference weekly honor in Tokheim’s career and is only the second for Stanford since joining the ACC. Trevor Haskins previously earned ACC Player of the Week honors on February 24, 2025.
Tokheim posted a .471 batting average (8-for-17) over four games, scoring five runs with one double, three home runs, and nine runs batted in. He recorded hits in all four games and had multiple hits in three of them. His week included a two-hit game with a home run against Utah Valley and two home runs with five RBIs during Stanford’s win at Virginia Tech on Friday. On Sunday, he delivered a go-ahead two-RBI single in extra innings to help clinch the series for Stanford.
Throughout these games, Tokheim achieved a slugging percentage of 1.059 and reached base at a .571 rate. He has now hit safely in nine consecutive games and reached base in nineteen straight contests. Currently, he leads his team in multi-RBI games (eight) and is second for multi-hit games (nine).
Pitt’s Caden Dulin shared ACC co-Player of the Week honors with Tokheim, while Wes Mendes from Florida State was selected as ACC Pitcher of the Week.
Stanford will return home following their road trip to host Clemson for a three-game ACC series beginning Friday evening.
