On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Palo Alto High School standout Xavier Esquer’s current college team, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the California Baptist Lancers.
The game took place at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lancers this season.
The Gauchos’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Eddy D. Field Stadium against Pepperdine Waves.
