Four educators have been recognized as the first recipients of Stanford University's new Lecturer’s Award for Teaching and Undergraduate Education. The awardees, Cathy Haas, Aleta Hayes, Jamie Imam, and Elizabeth Kessler, were celebrated at a recent campus event.

The award is managed by the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE) and honors lecturers who have made significant contributions to university life and undergraduate education. It aims to highlight excellence in teaching, curricular innovation, mentoring, advising, and overall impact on the university's academic mission.

This initiative underscores Stanford's commitment to recognizing distinguished efforts in enhancing undergraduate education.
