Mountain View-Ace Hardware of Mountain to give away American flags

Mountain View-Ace Hardware of Mountain will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

California lost 1,894 soldiers in the Korean war and 3,597 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 2555 Charleston Rd, Mountain View will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Mission Santa Clara Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Mountain View-Ace Hardware of Mountain while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Mountain View-Ace Hardware of Mountain is located at 2555 Charleston Rd, Mountain View, California. This location is owned by Joseph Jeffries and represented by Ken Krueger.
