Of the 30,878 people living in Los Altos city in 2020, 50.7 percent (15,662) were women and 49.3 percent (15,216) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South SFV Today.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 209. In the 65 and over age range, there were 3,016 females and 2,789 males.
