Thirteen members of the Stanford Cardinal women’s gymnastics team have been named Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-Americans for the 2024-25 season, according to an announcement made Monday.
The WCGA Scholastic All-America team recognizes student-athletes who achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, or earned a 3.5 GPA during the academic year. This year, a record 1,218 student-athletes from 69 programs met the criteria since statistics began being tracked in 2008.
Stanford also had a strong showing at the conference level earlier in the academic year, with twelve student-athletes earning spots on the 2025 ACC All-Academic Team. Eligibility for this honor required athletes to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA for both the previous semester and their overall academic career while competing in at least half of their team’s contests.
As a team, Stanford finished the school year with an overall GPA of 3.5683.
The Cardinal’s achievements extended beyond academics during the 2025 season. The team secured its first conference championship title since 2008 at its inaugural appearance at the ACC Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina. Stanford posted both the highest team score in conference championship history and its sixth-best total ever as a program. In addition to winning the team title, Stanford athletes claimed all five event titles available at the meet—a feat previously accomplished by Stanford only once before, in 1984.
The following gymnasts were recognized as WCGA Scholastic All-Americans for 2024-25: Kendra Chang (Sr., Undeclared), Claire Dean (So., International Relations), Anapaula Gutierrez (Jr., Design), Brenna Neault (Sr., Human Biology), Taralyn Nguyen (Jr., Engineering), Anna Roberts (So., Economics), Sienna Robinson (So., Political Science), Ui Soma (Fr., Undeclared), Porsche Trinidad (Jr., Economics), Alana Walker (Fr., Undeclared), Jimena Gutierrez [medical retirement] (Sr., Design), Katya Sander (Sr., Human Biology), and Levi Jung-Ruivivar (Fr., Undeclared).
