Stanford women’s swimming announces five recruits for 2026 season

Five athletes will join the Stanford women’s swimming and diving program in 2026, according to an announcement from Paul A. Violich, Director of Women’s Swimming and Diving. The new recruits are KC Braeger, Taylor Klein, Alyce Lehman, Tanni Stevanato, and Clare Watson.

The group brings a range of experience from various swim teams across the United States and Italy. KC Braeger specializes in backstroke and individual medley events and comes from the Lakeside Swim Team in Louisville, Kentucky. Alyce Lehman focuses on butterfly and swims for Jersey Wahoos in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Taylor Klein competes in fly and backstroke for Mecklenburg Swim Association in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tanni Stevanato joins from Team Veneto in Venezia, Italy with strengths in freestyle and butterfly. Clare Watson is a butterfly swimmer with Bellevue Club Swim Team based on Mercer Island, Washington.

Paul A. Violich stated: “Five new signees are set to arrive on The Farm in 2026.”

This incoming class is expected to contribute to the team’s performance as they prepare for future seasons.
