Stanford University has announced the 2025–26 schedule for its women’s swimming and diving team. The program, under the leadership of Paul A. Violich Director of Women’s Swimming Chris Lindauer, will participate in 13 meets during the season, including two home events at Avery Aquatic Center.
The Cardinal’s season will begin with a quad meet featuring UC San Diego, California, and Hawai‘i on October 10–11. Stanford’s first home competition is set for October 24 as part of a tri-meet with Arizona State and California. The following day, California will host the second leg of this event.
Midseason competition will take place in Austin, Texas. The team will attend the Texas Diving Invite from November 13 to 15 and then compete in the Texas Swimming Invite from November 19 to 22.
After Winter Break, Stanford will engage in four dual meets. These include matchups against UCLA on January 16 and USC on January 17 in Los Angeles. Senior Day celebrations are scheduled for January 24 at home versus San Jose State. The team will then travel to Berkeley for a rivalry meet against Cal on January 31.
A new feature for the upcoming season is the separation of dates for swimming and diving competitions at the ACC Swimming & Diving Championships. The diving portion is set for February 15–17, while swimming events will follow from February 17–21.
Postseason activities start with NCAA Zones from March 9 to March 11. The season concludes with the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships scheduled for March 18–21.
Chris Lindauer stated: “A new era for Stanford women’s swimming & diving is just weeks away, as Paul A. Violich Director of Women’s Swimming Chris Lindauer announced the upcoming 2025–26 schedule on Wednesday evening.”
