Stanford is set to continue its five-match homestand to begin the 2025 season, hosting San Diego State on Thursday. The two teams have faced each other 11 times in their history, with Stanford holding a strong advantage, outscoring San Diego State 32-6 and recording six shutouts. The only draw between the programs was a scoreless match on October 10, 1993, at the San Diego Invitational.

Under head coach Paul Ratcliffe, Stanford has maintained an undefeated record against San Diego State, winning all five encounters and achieving three shutouts during his tenure.

The match marks another step in Stanford’s early-season schedule as it seeks to build on its successful history against San Diego State and continue its performance under Ratcliffe’s leadership.
