The Stanford Cardinal softball team has achieved a significant academic milestone in their first season in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Twelve student-athletes from the team have been named to the ACC All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference today.
To be eligible for selection to this prestigious academic team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 grade point average both in the previous quarter and cumulatively throughout their academic career. Additionally, they are required to have participated in at least half of their program’s tournaments during the season.
Among those honored are Caelan Koch and Kylie Chung, who have now been recognized three times for their academic achievements, having previously been named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll twice. Kyra Chan and River Mahler also earned recognition as multi-time selections after receiving Pac-12 honors last year.
