Kevin Hambly, The Montag Family Director of Women’s Volleyball at Stanford, has been named ACC Coach of the Year, according to an announcement from the conference. This recognition highlights a series of All-ACC honors for Stanford athletes.

Seven members of the Stanford Cardinal women’s volleyball team received all-conference awards. Senior Elia Rubin, sophomore Lizzy Andrew, and freshman Spencer Etzler were named to the All-ACC First Team. Junior Jordyn Harvey, redshirt sophomore Julia Blyashov, and freshmen Logan Parks and Erika Sayer earned spots on the All-ACC Second Team. Additionally, Etzler, Parks, and Sayer were selected for the ACC All-Freshman Team.

Stanford now holds 178 all-conference selections in its history and 51 all-freshman picks.

This is Hambly’s third time receiving conference coach of the year honors. He has compiled a record of 226 wins and 46 losses overall, with a 145-25 mark in conference play over nine seasons as head coach at Stanford. In two seasons competing in the ACC, Stanford has posted a 55-9 overall record and gone 35-5 in league matches. Hambly also has six conference titles (2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2025) as well as national championships in both 2018 and 2019.

Elia Rubin is a four-time all-conference selection who leads her team with an average of 4.03 points per set—ninth best in the ACC—and ranks fourth in aces per set at .41. She also leads with an average of 3.43 kills per set and has recorded ten double-doubles this season. Rubin is one of only eleven players in school history to achieve both 1,000 career kills and digs; she recently set a school record for aces during rally scoring with a total now at 148.

Lizzy Andrew ranks second in the ACC with a .440 attack percentage—sixth nationally—and leads her team by averaging 1.23 blocks per set along with contributing an average of 2.45 kills per set.

Spencer Etzler stands sixth among ACC players with an average of 3.69 digs per set while recording just seven reception errors this season. She was twice named ACC Defensive Player of the Week and led her team in digs during twenty-three matches.

Julia Blyashov averages three kills per set (second on her team), along with contributions in digs (1.49), aces (.26), and points (3.51). She achieved double-digit kills ten times this season.

Jordyn Harvey received her second career all-conference honor after averaging over three points per set this year; she registered four double-doubles.

Logan Parks helped guide Stanford to a .301 hitting percentage—third-best among ACC teams—which also ranks seventh nationally; she averaged nearly ten assists per set (third-best within the conference).

Erika Sayer finished fifth in attack percentage within the conference (.383) while earning two Freshman of the Week honors.

Stanford enters postseason play as a No.2 seed for the NCAA Tournament—the sixth overall national seed—and will host Utah Valley Friday evening for its first-round match-up at Maples Pavilion; South Dakota State faces Arizona earlier that day before winners meet Saturday night for advancement opportunities within tournament play—all matches available via ESPN+ streaming platform.
