Stanford athletes Roisin Willis and Zofia Dudek have been named to the Academic All-America team for women’s track and field/cross country by College Sports Communicators.
Willis, who won the 2025 NCAA outdoor 800-meter championship, was awarded first-team honors. Dudek, an Atlantic Coast Conference indoor 5,000 champion, received second-team recognition. This marks the second Academic All-America award for Willis and the third for Dudek.
Willis is a junior history major from Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She set a record at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 1:58.13 in Eugene, Oregon—an ACC record and one of the fastest times in collegiate history. A nine-time All-American, she holds three NCAA titles and was named USTFCCCA West Region Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year.
Dudek is pursuing graduate studies in biomedical data science after completing her undergraduate degree in bioengineering. Originally from Poland but having spent time in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she earned second-team indoor All-America honors for her role in Stanford’s distance medley relay team.
With these accolades, Stanford cross country and track and field teams have accumulated 26 Academic All-America honors across 20 women athletes over time.
The selection of Willis and Dudek comes after their inclusion on CSC Academic All-District teams alongside other Stanford honorees Amy Bunnage, Sophia Kennedy, and Teagan Zwaanstra.
