Stanford prepares for NCAA quarterfinal against Michigan State

Top-seeded Stanford is set to face No. 9 Michigan State in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday. This match marks the first meeting between the two teams and is also Stanford’s first game against a team from Michigan.

Stanford has a strong record against current Big Ten teams, holding a combined record of 120 wins, 31 losses, and 16 draws. The Cardinal has faced several Big Ten opponents over the years, including Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers, UCLA, USC, Washington, and Wisconsin.

The team continues its pursuit of a fourth national title as it advances further into the tournament.
