Stanford has been projected to finish third in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for its second season, according to a poll conducted among the league’s coaches. The announcement comes as three players from the team were named to the Preseason All-ACC Team.

Jordyn Harvey, Ipar Kurt, and Elia Rubin have been selected for the 18-player Preseason All-ACC Team. This marks Rubin’s second time earning preseason all-conference honors, while Harvey and Kurt receive this recognition for the first time.

Stanford received two first-place votes and accumulated 264 points in the coaches’ poll. Pitt was chosen as the favorite to win the ACC with 10 first-place votes and 279 points. Louisville followed closely behind with six first-place votes and 271 points.

Elia Rubin is returning as a first-team AVCA All-American. Last season, Jordyn Harvey and Ipar Kurt were named to the All-ACC Second Team.

The Cardinal will start its season at the AVCA First Serve Showcase from August 22 to 24. During this event in Lincoln, Stanford will play against Florida and Nebraska. The conference schedule begins on September 27 when Stanford visits Virginia.

“Elia Rubin is a returning first-team AVCA All-American, while Harvey and Kurt were both selected to the All-ACC Second Team last season.”
