Stanford men’s tennis has been recognized for its academic achievements by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Nine players from the team have been named ITA Scholar Athletes, and the team itself has earned the distinction of being an ITA All-Academic Team.
To qualify as ITA Scholar-Athletes, players needed to maintain a 3.5 grade point average for the 2024-25 academic year. The criteria for ITA All-Academic Teams required a combined grade point average of at least 3.2.
The honored Stanford players are Samir Banerjee, Nathan Barki, Max Basing, Nico Godsick, Kyle Kang, Alex Razeghi, Hudson Rivera, Luke Tusher, and Henry von der Schulenburg.
In addition to their academic success, Stanford’s men’s tennis program had an impressive season in 2024-25. The team achieved a 26-6 overall record and won an ACC Championship in its first season in the conference. They also advanced to the national semifinals of both the NCAA Championships and the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
