Stanford University’s men’s soccer program has announced that six of its student-athletes have been named Academic All-District honorees by College Sports Communicators. The recognition highlights both athletic and academic achievements.

The honored athletes are Fletcher Bank, Palmer Bank, Zach Bohane, Will Cleary, Rowan Schnebly, and Alfonso Tenconi-Gradillas. They were included on the Academic All-District Men’s Soccer Team, which acknowledges top student-athletes nationwide for their combined performances in competition and academics.

According to the announcement from College Sports Communicators, “The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.”

Those selected as Academic All-District honorees are also eligible for consideration on the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Among Stanford’s selections, Fletcher Bank, Zach Bohane, and Will Cleary have advanced as finalists for Academic All-America honors.
