Stanford University’s men’s soccer team had 11 student-athletes named to the 2025 ACC All-Academic Team, according to an announcement from the conference office. This total is the second highest among all Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) programs, following Louisville with 13 honorees. Notre Dame and SMU also had 11 selections each.
To qualify for the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average both in the previous two semesters and cumulatively throughout their academic career. Additional requirements include being enrolled at their institution for at least one year as an undergraduate and participating in at least half of their team’s games during the season.
The ACC recognized a total of 130 men’s soccer players across its 15 member institutions for academic achievement this year.
Stanford’s strong academic showing comes after a successful athletic season in which the Cardinal reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament for a fourth consecutive year. The team also spent five weeks ranked No. 1 nationally during the regular season, more than any other program.
The Stanford athletes named to the All-ACC Academic Team are: Fletcher Bank, Palmer Bank, Zach Bohane, Alex Chow, Will Cleary, Shane de Flores, Liam Doyle, Dylan Groeneveld, Trevor Islam, Rowan Schnebly, and Alfonso Tenconi-Gradillas.
