Stanford, Calif. – The Stanford men’s gymnastics team has swept the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) weekly awards after its season-opening win against California.

Redshirt senior Nick Kuebler was named Gymnast of the Week, Jun Iwai received Freshman of the Week honors, and Kiran Mandava was recognized as Specialist of the Week. This marks the first MPSF honor for each athlete.

Kuebler returned to competition for the first time since 2024 and led NCAA scores on floor exercise with a 14.000 and still rings with a 13.900, winning both event titles. He also finished fifth on high bar in his season debut.

Iwai made an immediate impact in his first collegiate meet by finishing fourth on both floor exercise (13.600) and vault (14.000). His performances contributed to Stanford’s NCAA-leading team score of 54.800 on floor.

Mandava earned his first career MPSF weekly award after posting a personal best of 14.200 on pommel horse to claim the event title. He also placed fourth on parallel bars with a score of 12.900, helping Stanford achieve NCAA opening-week team highs in each event.

Stanford will next compete at the Rocky Mountain Open against Air Force, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Arizona State from GymACT.
