Stanford University’s men’s basketball team will begin its 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) schedule at home, facing Notre Dame in late December. The ACC released the full conference slate on Tuesday.
The Cardinal will play its first two league games at Maples Pavilion, starting with Notre Dame on December 30 or 31, followed by Louisville on January 2. The team’s first away games are scheduled against Virginia Tech and Virginia in early January.
Stanford is set to host North Carolina and Duke in back-to-back home contests mid-January. The matchup against Duke marks the Blue Devils’ first visit to Stanford’s campus, although Stanford previously defeated then-No. 1 Duke in Oakland in 2000. North Carolina will make its third trip to Maples Pavilion.
The Cardinal will end a three-game homestand by playing California on January 24. Last season, Stanford recorded a sweep of its rival, winning all three matchups under head coach Kyle Smith for the first time since 2015.
Following the homestand, Stanford heads out for road games at Miami and Florida State before returning home to face Clemson and Georgia Tech in early February.
In the closing stretch of the regular season, five of Stanford’s last seven games will be played away from home. These include trips to Boston College and Wake Forest, as well as a return game at California on February 21. The team wraps up its home schedule with games against Pittsburgh and SMU before finishing the regular season at Notre Dame and NC State in March.
Stanford concluded the previous season with a record of 21-14 overall—the program’s highest win total since the 2014-15 campaign—and posted eleven victories in ACC play. The team returns an ACC-leading portion of minutes played from last year while adding new transfers and freshmen to its roster.
Season ticket memberships for the upcoming season are now available for purchase. Broadcast details and finalized dates for each matchup will be announced later.
