Stanford University’s women’s lacrosse team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) as an Academic Honor Squad for the 2024-25 academic year. This marks another year since 2009 that Stanford has received this accolade, joining 383 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA.
To qualify for the Academic Honor Squad distinction, a team’s GPA must be at least 3.2 for the academic year. In addition to this team honor, 12 Stanford student-athletes were named to the IWLCA’s academic honor roll. The honor roll includes 1,176 student-athletes from 124 institutions in Division I.
The criteria for individual recognition require that student-athletes be juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
