Stanford University has announced the 2025 cross country schedule, which includes five regular season meets beginning at the end of August. The Cardinal will open their campaign with the USF Invitational at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco on August 29.

The women’s team aims to defend its title at the USF Invitational, while both men’s and women’s squads will look to repeat as champions at Missouri’s Gans Creek Classic on September 26. The regular season continues with the Pacific Collegiate XC Invite in Stockton, California, on October 3.

After a two-week break, Stanford will compete in two meets over one weekend: the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invite in Madison on October 17 and the Bronco Invite in Santa Clara on October 18. The team will then prepare for a return to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships in Louisville, Kentucky, scheduled for October 31. Last year marked Stanford’s debut in the ACC, where both men’s and women’s teams finished second.

Postseason competition begins with the NCAA West Regionals in Sacramento on November 14. The season concludes with the NCAA Cross Country Championships held in Columbia, Missouri, on November 22.
