The Stanford baseball program has been recognized with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2024-25 academic year. The award is given to ABCA member teams at both high school and collegiate levels that maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the academic year.

This recognition places Stanford among more than 440 college programs and over 300 high school programs honored this year for their academic achievement.

The ABCA has a longstanding tradition of recognizing both coaches and student-athletes in baseball. Its awards program includes distinctions such as the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Teams, which were established in 1949, as well as other honors like the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Awards, ABCA/ATEC Regional & National Coaches of the Year, the ABCA Hall of Fame, and the Dave Keilitz Ethics in Coaching Award.
