Former Stanford football players had a notable impact during the NFL Wild Card weekend, with two alumni scoring decisive touchdowns late in their games. Eight former Cardinal started for their teams, and seven are set to advance to the Divisional Round.

In the matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers, Colby Parkinson scored the game-winning touchdown for the Rams in the final minutes. In another key performance, Christian McCaffrey made a significant play for the San Francisco 49ers against the Philadelphia Eagles.
