Stanford University announced that six members of its women’s soccer team have been named to the Academic All-District list by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The student-athletes recognized are Jasmine Aikey, Elise Evans, Shae Harvey, Andrea Kitahata, Charlotte Kohler, and Sammy Smith.

Jasmine Aikey has previously earned Academic All-American honors in each of the last two seasons. She was named to the first team last year and is aiming for a third consecutive selection later this season. Both Shae Harvey and Andrea Kitahata are being recognized as All-District honorees for the second time after receiving the same honor last year. Elise Evans also receives her second selection, having been honored in 2023.

The CSC selects Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams to recognize student-athletes who excel both on the field and academically. The program includes separate recognition for NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA athletes.

Those selected as Academic All-District honorees become eligible for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. According to Stanford’s announcement: “Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists, including Aikey, Evans, Harvey, Kitahata and Kohler, will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on December 16.”
