Three players from the Santa Clara women’s soccer team have been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches as All-West Region selections. Mailin Orozco was named to the Second Team, while Izzy DeBuyl and Kennedy Schoennauer earned spots on the Third Team.

DeBuyl, a redshirt freshman, played in 18 matches with 16 starts. She logged a team-high 1,489 minutes as part of the team’s defensive line. DeBuyl was previously named an All-WCC honorable mention and made the conference’s All-Freshman team.
Schoennauer started all 18 matches she played in, finishing second on the team with five goals and 13 points. She recorded three game-winning goals, tying for most on the squad. Last season, Schoennauer was a First Team All-West Region selection. In November, she was also named an All-WCC honorable mention.
