Santa Clara women’s basketball will play against Washington State at the Leavey Center on Thursday at 6 p.m.
The Broncos are averaging 81.5 points per game, shooting 40.8 percent from the field, 31.8 percent from three-point range, and 71.6 percent from the free throw line. Maia Jones leads Santa Clara with an average of 14.6 points per game and has made 48 three-pointers along with contributing 4.6 rebounds per game. Sophie Glancey, who is currently sidelined due to injury, is also averaging 14.6 points and leads the team with seven rebounds per game while shooting nearly 49 percent from the floor; she also has a team-high of 36 blocks this season.
Ashley Hawkins contributes an average of 12.9 points and a team-best six assists per game in addition to her average of almost four rebounds each contest. Ava Schmidt adds nearly eleven points per game with forty-one three-pointers made, five rebounds per game, and a team-leading forty-eight blocks so far this season. Kylee Fox scores just over ten points per contest and has made forty three-pointers.
