Santa Clara University’s men’s golf team has announced its schedule for the 2025-26 season, featuring participation in 12 tournaments. The Broncos, led by head coach Andrew Larkin entering his sixth year, will open their campaign on September 8-9 at the Palouse Collegiate in Pullman, Washington. This marks Santa Clara’s first appearance at this event.

The team’s fall slate includes five tournaments. After the Palouse Collegiate, Santa Clara will compete in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico from September 19-20 in Albuquerque. It is the third consecutive year the Broncos have played in this tournament; last season they finished seventh with a score of 13-over 877.

On October 6-7, Santa Clara travels to Indiana for its first appearance at the Fighting Irish Classic hosted by Notre Dame. This event will be their only trip east of the Mississippi River during the season.

Later in October, the Broncos return to Monterey for two events: the Saint Mary’s Invitational (October 21-23) and Preserve Golf Club Collegiate (October 27-28). At last year’s Saint Mary’s Invitational, Santa Clara tied for fifth place with a total score of 7-over 871. Then-freshman Matt Robles was SCU’s top performer, tying for fifth individually with a score of 3-under 213.

After a winter break, competition resumes January 26-27 at The N.I.T., hosted by Arizona in Tucson. This is Santa Clara’s third straight year at this tournament; last season they finished sixth with a team score of 19-under 845—one of their best scores to par historically—and Robles again tied for fifth individually.

In February, Santa Clara returns to Hawai’i for the John Burns Intercollegiate (February 12-14), aiming to repeat last year’s success when they finished third with a score of 10-under 830 and Robles tied for eighth place at four under par. On February 16, they are set to participate in the Genesis Invitational held at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles; this event offers both an individual PGA Tour exemption and university program funding opportunities.

March brings three more tournaments: Bandon Dunes Intercollegiate (March 8-10) in Oregon—Santa Clara’s debut at that event—the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational (March 23-24) where they were runners-up last year after shooting a combined total of seventeen under par and placing three golfers inside the top ten individually, and The Goodwin hosted by Stanford (March 26-28) where J.P. Odland will look to defend his co-medalist title from last season after finishing five under par and tying atop individual standings as part of a team effort that saw them tie for fifth overall while defeating nine ranked teams head-to-head.

The regular season concludes May 1-3 with the West Coast Conference Championship at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, California. Last year’s WCC Championship saw Santa Clara break its program record with a stroke play finish of twenty-six under par before falling to LMU during match play—a first-ever appearance for SCU—while Odland tied for third individually after shooting twelve under par.
