Santa Clara University’s men’s golf team finished in fourth place at the 2026 Bandon Dunes Championship after posting an even-par 284 in the final round on March 10, bringing their total to 2-under 850. J.P. Odland led the Broncos individually, securing ninth place with a score of 4-under 209.
The team’s performance was highlighted by Odland’s top-10 finish, which marked the 11th of his career and ties him for the fourth-most in program history. Odland shot an even-par 71 in the final round, including an eagle on the par-5 No. 3 hole and two birdies to offset four bogeys.
Kevin Hollomon recorded the lowest round of the day for Santa Clara with a score of 2-under 69, featuring four birdies. This effort moved him up eight spots into a tie for 13th place at 2-under 211. Matt Robles also placed inside the top-20, finishing tied for 20th at even-par 213 after shooting a final-round score of one-under-par with four birdies.
Other contributors included Emil Nielsen, who tied for 57th at nine-over-par (222), Jack Hayden, who tied for 77th at thirteen-over-par (226), and Tyler Gerace, competing as an individual and tying for 84th at seventeen-over-par (230). Oregon State won both the team title with a score of thirty-one under par (821) and individual honors with a wire-to-wire finish at thirteen under par (200).
Santa Clara will next compete in the Bridgestone Collegiate scheduled for March 23-24 at Silverado Resort in Napa, California.
