On Friday, May 16, former San Benito High School standout Ryan Io’s current collegiate team the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters lost 1-8 against the Westmont Warriors in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Russell Carr Field at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Westmont Warriors in the tournament.

The Cal State Monterey Bay Otters’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Russell Carr Field.
