The following day, on May 9, 2025, he posted another tweet stating: “In 233 cities across the U.S., starter homes cost $1 million or more. We have to do more to help young Americans enter the housing market by passing my Stop Wall Street Landlords Act and preventing Big Banks from artificially inflating the market.”
Later that day, Rep. Khanna tweeted about job losses in Pennsylvania: “105 people lost their jobs in Trumbauersville, Pennsylvania, when glass producer Custom Glass Solutions closed its doors.”
Ro Khanna has served in Congress since 2017 after replacing Mike Honda. Born in Philadelphia in 1976 and currently residing in Fremont, Khanna holds a BA from the University of Chicago and a JD from Yale University.
