U.S. Representative Ro Khanna, who serves California’s 17th district in Congress, addressed a range of issues on April 14, 2026, through several posts on his official social media account.
In recognition of Holocaust Remembrance Day, Khanna stated: “On Holocaust Remembrance Day we are reminded of one our history’s darkest periods. We must take today to remember the victims and survivors and always speak out against antisemitism and acts of hatred when we see them.” (April 14, 2026).
Later that day, Khanna commented on economic policy: “The era of nudges and incrementalism is over. We need the most bold and ambitious legislation of a generation. I call it New Economic Patriotism. @PressClubDC https://t.co/nknA2ZBpxa” (April 14, 2026).
He also expressed concerns about public trust in government institutions: “Americans simply do not trust government because they see it captured by the rich and the powerful. Nothing encapsulates this injustice more than the Epstein Class. @PressClubDC https://t.co/eE3xGckiuL” (April 14, 2026).
Khanna has represented California’s 17th District in Congress since replacing Mike Honda in 2017. He was born in Philadelphia in 1976 and currently resides in Fremont. Khanna holds a BA from the University of Chicago and a JD from Yale University.
