On Saturday, March 1, former Palo Alto High School standout Xavier Esquer’s current college team, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Fresno State Bulldogs.

The game took place at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Gauchos’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 1:05 p.m. at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium against Fresno State Bulldogs.
