On Tuesday, March 18, former The King’s Academy standout Garret Plata’s current college team, the Saint Mary’s Gaels, lost 13-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the California Golden Bears.

The game took place at Louis Guisto Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Gaels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 3:05 p.m. at Charles Schwab Field Omaha against Creighton Bluejays.
