On Saturday, Feb. 22, former The King’s Academy standout Garret Plata’s current college team, the Saint Mary’s Gaels, lost 13-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Vanderbilt Commodores.
The game took place at Hawkins Field. This was their second matchup against the Commodores this season.
The Gaels’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. at Hawkins Field against Vanderbilt Commodores.
