On Saturday, April 19, former Gilroy High School standout Lauryn Yslava’s current college team, the SIU Edwardsville Cougars, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

It was the last SIU Edwardsville Cougars’ game this season
