On Friday, Feb. 28, former Henry M. Gunn High School standout Kylie Liu’s current college team, the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, won 12-7 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Whittier Poets.
The game took place at Charles and Marie Palmer Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Poets this season.
The Sagehens’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Wig Beach Field against Whittier Poets.
