On Friday, March 13, the NYU Violets, with former Pinewood School standout Jolyn Ding on the roster, defeated the Hardin–Simmons Cowgirls 103-61 in NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament play.

The matchup, held at John A. Paulson Center at 6:30 p.m., marked the team’s first game against Hardin–Simmons Cowgirls in the tournament.

NYU is set to compete again on Saturday, March 14, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at John A. Paulson Center.
