On Sunday, March 2, former San Benito High School standout Matthew Pena’s current college team, the Cal State Northridge Matadors, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The game took place at L. Dale Mitchell Park. This was their third matchup against the Sooners this season.

The Matadors’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 4:05 p.m. at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium against UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.
