On Sunday, April 13, former Gilroy High School standout Lauryn Yslava’s current college team, the SIU Edwardsville Cougars, won 10-9 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Tennessee State Tigers.
The game took place at Cougar Field. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 12 p.m. at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium against Western Illinois Leathernecks.
