James Rozolis-Hill, a three-time All-America selection and former Harvard standout, has joined the Stanford men’s water polo team, Brian Flacks, The Dunlevie Family Director of Men’s Water Polo, announced on Apr. 8. Rozolis-Hill set a program record at Harvard by scoring 358 career goals over three seasons.
The addition of Rozolis-Hill is significant for the Cardinal as he brings a proven scoring ability and national recognition to the squad. His performance at Harvard included setting a single-season record with 123 goals as a freshman, marking the first time any player in program history surpassed the 100-goal mark in one season.
Rozolis-Hill continued his high level of play as a sophomore with another century-mark season of 109 goals, again earning ACWPC All-America third team honors. In his third year with the Crimson, he broke his own single-season record by scoring 124 goals.
He is now the second All-American to transfer to Stanford in recent weeks. Bernardo Herzer was announced as joining on April 1. Together, they bring five combined All-America selections to Stanford’s roster for the upcoming season.
Stanford aims to build on its recent success following back-to-back trips to the NCAA Championship semifinals.
