Santa Clara, Calif. – Former Santa Clara Broncos women’s soccer player Sally Menti has been called up to her first United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) camp. Menti will participate in the team’s annual January Camp and is scheduled to play in two matches, facing Paraguay on January 24 and Chile on January 27.
Menti played for the Broncos from 2020 to 2024, appearing in 74 matches and starting in 68 of them. Over her college career, she scored 11 goals and recorded 24 assists.
She was instrumental in Santa Clara’s run during the 2020 NCAA Tournament, scoring the only goal against Clemson that secured the Broncos’ return to the College Cup. This led to the program’s second national championship. In the final against Florida State, Menti converted a penalty kick as a freshman, contributing to Santa Clara’s title win.
Menti earned several honors during her collegiate career, including being named First Team All-West Region and First Team All-WCC in both 2023 and 2024. She was also recognized as the WCC Freshman of the Year in 2020 and received Freshman All-WCC and All-WCC Second Team honors that same year. Additionally, she was selected for the Top Drawer Soccer Best XI Freshman Team in 2020.
Currently, Menti plays professionally with Seattle Reign FC in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
