Stanford University’s women’s soccer team has placed five players on the 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region teams. Seniors Jasmine Aikey and Elise Evans were named to the first team, leading the group of Cardinal athletes recognized.

Sophomore Charlotte Kohler and redshirt-senior Andrea Kitahata earned spots on the second team, while freshman goalkeeper Caroline Birkel was selected for the third team. This marks the fourth time Aikey and Evans have received All-Region honors. Last year, they were named to the fourth team after being part of the All-Pacific Region first team in their first two seasons at Stanford. For Kitahata, Kohler, and Birkel, this is their first time receiving All-Region recognition.

Stanford recently won its first Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season and tournament titles. The team is preparing for its 13th appearance in the College Cup and its third consecutive trip to this stage of the competition. Stanford will face No. 2 seed Duke in a semifinal match at the 2025 NCAA Women’s College Cup in Kansas City, Missouri.

“Jasmine Aikey and Elise Evans were named All-Region first team, headlining five Cardinal on the lists,” according to Stanford Athletics.

The match against Duke is scheduled for Friday at 5:45 p.m. Pacific Time as Stanford continues its pursuit of a fourth national title.
