Outside hitter Elia Rubin has been included in the 2025 Division I Player of the Year Award Watch List, presented by Nike Volleyball. The announcement was made as part of a series revealing players on July 22-24.

The AVCA Division I Women’s Volleyball Awards Committee compiled the Preseason Watch List and will oversee subsequent phases of the Player of the Year selection process.

Stanford’s volleyball season begins at the AVCA First Serve Showcase in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Cardinal will compete against Florida on August 22 on FOX and Nebraska on August 24 on ESPN at Pinnacle Arena.

The national player of the year will be announced on December 19 in Kansas City.
