Eight Santa Clara women’s soccer players earn WCC academic honors

Eight members of the Santa Clara University women’s soccer team have received recognition from the West Coast Conference (WCC) for their academic achievements. The WCC named Ally Reynolds, Lia Henkelmann, Kat Jordan, Leah O’Brien, Kennedy Schoennauer, Addie Whitehouse, Eva Wirtz, and Malia Yamamoto as All-Academic honorable mention selections.

Ally Reynolds is a graduate student in Finance and Analytics with a 4.000 GPA. Lia Henkelmann, who majors in Psychology and holds a 3.875 GPA, has earned this honor for the second consecutive year. Kat Jordan is also a graduate student with a 3.912 GPA in Marketing.

Leah O’Brien studies Biology and maintains a 3.722 GPA; this marks her third straight year receiving an honorable mention. Kennedy Schoennauer is majoring in Communication with a 3.631 GPA.

Addie Whitehouse is recognized for the second year in a row; she majors in Finance and has a 3.902 GPA. Eva Wirtz is pursuing her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership as a graduate student with a 3.967 GPA.

Malia Yamamoto majors in Finance with a 3.958 GPA and was also honored last season.
